Constipation

Constipation is a term for unsatisfactory bowel movements or difficulty in passing stools. Almost everyone might experience constipation at some point of life, but disturbance to regular healthy habits of bowel movements can be a major issue leading towards unhealthy physiological condition and various diseases as well.

Normally the food we eat passes through then the digestive system which includes the stomach, intestines and finally reaches into the colon from where it is supposed to be excreted at specific interval mostly, early morning.

Causes

Low fiber diet is the major cause of constipation, but many other factor play an important role in unsatisfactory and irregular bowel movements. Following are the causes of constipation in brief:
